Expected New Pattern for IES 2016

Dear Students, Its almost certain that from next Year UPSC will conduct IES Examination in three stages as its for Civil Services. i.e first of all Prelims(May be in February) followed by Mains(expected in July) and Finally Interview(in January or February).
What I Personally  feel its not going to have much impact on the old students, who are already preparing this year for IES.
Of course its negative impact will be for the new students as they have to give GATE and IES almost at the same time, having different pattern and syllabus.
I want to advise Students those who are appearing this year, Please focus on this year IES and need not to worry for the next year, as it is not certain.

I always use to tell small motivational stories during classes, one for you all.

One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for ...hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey.

He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first,
the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement he quieted down.

A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up.

As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off!

MORAL :
Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a steppingstone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up.

Remember the five simple rules to be happy:

1. Free your heart from hatred - Forgive.

2. Free your mind from worries - Most never happens.

3. Live simply and appreciate what you have.

4. Give more.

5. Expect less from people but more from God.

The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential... these are the keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence.

Dear Students its time to engage final accelerating gear for your preparations of  IES-2015.
what i personally feel and experienced during  my preparations of IAS and IES, can help, guide and motivate you.
What to do:-

1. Never give up spirit is important....Still you can crack....still there is good chance.
2. Revision is important....go by short notes.
3. Go for Made Easy test series.......those will help you a lot.
4. Practice Conventional papers by writing answers.
5. In conventional paper always start the paper by making proper sequence, easiest question should be
attempted first and tough one in the last.

What Not to do:-

1. Don't Engage in rumors........important topics.....guess papers etc.
2. In objective paper don't mark answer, if not sure as there is negative marking.
3. Don't prepare new topics in last one month. Leave the topics which you are not comfortable.....last
one month should be for revision and only revision.
4. Avoid making unforced errors....it can be rectified by practice only.
